Back to listing Junior Production Chef Job Description The Delaunay promises to provide a busy and demanding kitchen environment Tasks will include but are not limited to: • Cutting tomato halves • Washing and prepping mushrooms • Scrambling and poaching eggs • Buttering muffins • Making breakfast pancakes and French toast. • Preparing sauces, shallot vinegar, mayonnaise, house dressings and stocks. • Peeling crayfish • Washing salad leaves These positions involve working between 1.30am and 7.30am Tuesday through Sunday inclusive with two days off. It is imperative that you are used to night work and happy to work unsupervised and to tight deadlines. Successful candidates will be clean, fast, with excellent food hygiene principles and responsible. An ability to cope with high volume kitchen production and the lone nature of night work will be necessary, although work will always be in pairs.
